Socrates Fellows Inducted into Honor Society

Socrates Fellows Samuel Lasse and Christine Shulse (both of Biological Sciences) are 2011 Bouchet Graduate Honor Society members. The Bouchet Graduate Honor Society was founded in 2005 by Yale and Howard universities to recognize outstanding scholarly achievement and promote diversity and excellence in doctoral education and the professoriate. UC San Diego became a member chapter in 2008. The students selected exemplify the characteristics of Bouchet - scholarship, leadership, character, service and advocacy. Congratulations Sam and Christine!
