“I have participated in several ScienceBridge activities over the past several years,” says Frank. “I believe that it is an outstanding program that links high school students and teachers with college level activities, teachers, and students. The ScienceBridge Teacher Fellowship program seems like an in-depth extension to the ScienceBridge program, and an excellent opportunity for me as a teacher to bring quality activities into my classroom to share with my students. Also, it seems that the UCSD graduate students will be able to offer insight and knowledge about their experience with current cutting edge science. Also, I hope to help the graduate student develop a better sense of connecting with students.”
