Kimberly Elliot is a science teacher at Health Sciences High and Middle College, a local charter school that partners with Sharp Healthcare to expose students to careers in the science and health fields. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in General Biology from UCSD, Kimberly worked as a research scientist, studying transcription and splicing in yeast. With a passion for science education and children, she decided to switch careers and become a teacher.

Currently, Kimberly is the Head Fencing Coach, Muslim Student Association advisor and Science Club supporter at HSHMC.
